Being an introverted, shy person, painting for me is a form of expression of emotional, affective, mental content, a form of personal expression. I have always been fascinated by the show, be it external like the theater or internal like for example the Japanese tea ceremony which incorporates both external, theatrical, contemplative and internal ritual gestures (a reflection on the meaning and content of the world).
Thus I took more or less random fragments from the spectacle of life which sometimes takes the form of random arrangements of things that can be found in a corner of the workshop, on the kitchen table, in a trash can, in an old wall etc. from a theater performance or an absurd scene that can be encountered in real life
These random details of reality, I oversize and speculate, turning them into plastic gestures (a pendulum between abstract gesturalism and expressionism). I can say that this license has the role of a psychoanalyst with the help of which the personal impotence of expression is alchemized, in which my internal content, my emotional baggage is transmuted and sublimated into forms, concrete external objectives. The painting is my spokesperson and the voice of my weaknesses.
