Hello,
Hope you are all well. I have been busy working on commissions for the past few weeks, this work is a journey back to my favourite mode of painting.
The painting is a semi abstract work exploring a street scene with varying blurriness and clarity to create movement and drama.
the canvas is worked at the base with successive washes and scumblings to generate the blurriness and overlaid with the raindrops ; both transient and in sharp focus.
I have tried to capture the hustle a bustle of a busy urban scene.
