"Unsettled Feeling" is an original high texture abstract oil painting measuring 8 x 10 inches on a canvas panel, matted to a frame size of 11 x 14, and painted using professional grade oil paint.
The painting is sealed with a final coat of high-gloss varnish for protection. Ready to frame, standard 11 x 14 inches.
Signed on the mat. Titled, signed and dated on the back.
The Inspiration: Much of my work plays on the elements of texture and movement, a piece like “Unsettled Feeling” specifically emphasizes the textural elements that naturally come along with my oil paintings. With the absence of light, contrast, or color I have to make every brush stroke count – building complex layers of texture in a rich black oil paint.
