UNITY IN DIVISION (2026) Original Acrylic Painting by Pavlov Serghei

This painting explores the paradox between division and unity. As human beings, we often try to understand life by separating it into parts: emotions, memories, choices, experiences and inner conflicts. Yet, through this process of division, a new movement begins to appear.
In this work, the geometric structure suggests fragmentation, while the intense layers of colour create rhythm, vibration and connection. What seems divided at first becomes part of a larger whole. The composition transforms separation into motion, and motion into balance.
The painting is part of the Layers series, where colour, texture and repeated gestures become visible traces of inner transformation. Through layered surfaces and dynamic contrasts, the artwork speaks about the way fragmented experiences can still form one living, unified energy.
