Underwater forests. Underwater fields and underwater meadows. Late evening. I go and it seems to me that I am in a large swimming pool, just the air instead of water. The painting feels like an immersion into a living, fluid environment—something between a body of water and a sprawling organic form. The deep green and turquoise masses seem to breathe, flowing into one another and creating a sense of slow yet continuous movement.
The glossy surface of the painting has little possibility of specular reflection. This picture is ready to hang. The edges of the picture are painted over and this painting does not need a frame.
