Under the surface (2026) Original Acrylic Painting by Elisa Bertesago

Under the Surface is an original abstract painting created using the acrylic pouring technique. Dominated by layered shades of grey, charcoal and black, the composition is enriched by subtle variations of muted colour and delicate metallic accents.

The darker palette creates a striking sense of depth, drawing the viewer into a mysterious landscape that seems to extend beyond the visible surface. Fluid textures and intricate cellular patterns evoke mineral formations, submerged rocks and hidden geological layers, revealing new details with every glance.

The interplay between shadow, texture and subtle highlights gives the artwork a refined and sophisticated character. Both powerful and understated, Under the Surface brings depth, elegance and contemporary atmosphere to any interior.
