Umeå C 2/9 (2026) Etchings & engravings by Bart Demeestere

21 x 30cm (unframed) / 14 x 20cm (actual image size)

£171.03

Umeå Central Station was designed by architect Folke Zettervall and built in 1895–1896, ahead of the railway line being constructed from Vännäs to Umeå. Unlike contemporary station buildings, it was constructed with a brick façade. The station building is now a listed building.
This is a unique state print: every impression is individually inked. No two are identical. I have only made 9 of them; this is number 2.

Materials used:

alukraft plate, Akua intaglio ink, Watercolour paper 200gsm
