This artwork was a time-consuming process of many hours of patient observation and gradual layering of transparent watercolor washes. Each petal was painted step by step to capture the subtle variations of color, delicate texture, and elegant structure of these exquisite flowers.

I was inspired by the harmonious combination of colors in these two orchids: the gentle contrast between their shades and the quiet beauty of their natural forms. My intention was to preserve not only their botanical details but also the sense of elegance and fragility that makes orchids so captivating.
