Original artwork description
With this painting, I wanted to capture the fleeting moment between the end of the day and the beginning of the night - a transitional state suspended between two moments, filled with a sense of uncertainty and quiet anticipation. The winding, almost ambiguous path reinforces this feeling, suggesting movement without revealing exactly where it leads.
Light is one of the central subjects of the painting. The last rays of daylight fall selectively across the field, illuminating parts of the landscape while leaving others in shadow. The grass moves in different directions, introducing a subtle rhythm and sense of life into an otherwise still scene.
I was interested in capturing a moment when everything seems to pause. There is nowhere to hurry and nowhere else to be - only the opportunity to remain in this uncertain, fleeting state and simply experience it.
The painting is ultimately an exploration of transition, stillness and the quiet beauty of a moment that exists only briefly.
