They shake us, call our foundations into question, and push us toward a higher level of consciousness. This period can be long, heavy, and painful. It unfolds in several layers, in multiple stages that affect every aspect of our lives. But it has an end. At the end of this inner journey, the storm always subsides. We do not emerge broken; we emerge wiser, more mature, and stronger. By peeling away these layers of suffering, we finally become fully ourselves.
