Transformation 157 is part of my ongoing Transformation series, exploring personal change, emotional evolution, and the search for inner balance.

This painting developed through an intuitive process of layering and pulling acrylic across the canvas. Cool blues, icy whites, soft greys, and subtle traces of pink and warm tones create an almost architectural landscape. Large fragmented forms appear to open and close, suggesting walls, passages, and spaces between what was and what is becoming.

The cool palette gives the work a sense of calm and introspection, while the cracks, openings, and intersecting lines introduce movement and tension. To me, these elements reflect transformation as a process of breaking through old structures and creating space for something new.

I painted this work without a predetermined image, allowing each layer to guide the next. The process was meditative and intuitive—an exploration of letting go, rebuilding, and discovering what emerges in between. I hope the viewer can find their own sense of space, emotion, and possibility within the painting.
