TRANSFORMATION 156 (2026) Original Acrylic Painting by GORAZD BRAČUN

Transformation 156 is part of my ongoing Transformation series, exploring personal change, emotional evolution, and the gradual process of finding balance within ourselves.

This work developed through an intuitive layering of acrylic, combining soft blush, dusty rose, warm earth tones, charcoal, and flashes of vivid colour. Broad vertical passages create a feeling of movement and depth, while sharper diagonal lines cut through the composition, suggesting tension, direction, and the unexpected turns that shape our lives.

The softer tones give the painting a contemplative atmosphere, while the small bursts of red, blue, green, and turquoise feel like fragments of energy breaking through. For me, these contrasts reflect transformation itself: moments of uncertainty existing alongside strength, beauty, disruption, and renewal.

I created this painting without a predetermined image, allowing instinct and movement to guide the process. Painting is my meditation, and each layer becomes part of an internal dialogue. I hope the viewer can discover their own sense of journey, change, and possibility within the work.
