Original artwork description
Transformation 155 is part of my ongoing Transformation series, a deeply personal exploration of change, emotional evolution, and the process of finding strength and balance within ourselves.
The painting developed through an intuitive layering of acrylic, with warm tones of coral, crimson, terracotta, pink, and muted violet creating a rich and atmospheric surface. Darker passages move through the composition like shadows, while unexpected flashes of blue, green, and luminous yellow emerge from beneath the layers, suggesting moments of clarity breaking through uncertainty.
The landscape-like forms are not intended to represent a specific place. Instead, they emerged naturally through the painting process, becoming a metaphor for an inner landscape—complex, changing, and impossible to fully control.
For me, transformation is not about becoming someone else. It is about uncovering what is already within us and learning how to move forward. Painting this work was a meditative process of letting instinct guide each layer. I hope the viewer can pause, explore its depth, and find their own meaning within the colours and textures.
