Torbay in Devon is known as The English Riviera .During the summertime it is a delightful place, full of holidaymakers, palm trees and a multitude of yachts in the bay. As the sun goes down the sky takes on beautiful vivid colours and this is my inspiration for this painting. Created with pallet knife to give a strong textured look.
