With the salty tang of the sea and your heart racing in anticipation of the exhilarating plunge into the deep blue, this moment awakens a sense of freedom and excitement as you fill your lungs with a blend of adventure and tranquillity.

The 'Free-spirited Swimmers' Series are all Cyanotype Photograms. Using different textures, coloured filters and hand drawn images I create a handmade, actual size negative or contact sheet, which is then used to produce the cyanotype image. This means each image can be reprinted. BUT whilst some may look similar the variable nature of cyanotype means that no two can ever be exactly the same, making each one totally unique and an original.
