A timber facade rises in a continuous wave, each slat set at a slightly different angle so the surface seems to move as you walk past it. I photographed this detail for the way material and geometry meet: warm wood following a cold mathematical curve.

I work as an architect, and details like this are where a building's idea becomes physical. The rhythm of repeated elements, the shadow gaps between them, the gradual rotation from flat to full profile: this is structure behaving like sculpture, and the camera reads it as pure pattern and light.
