Oceanic Geometry Abstract Triptych | Tidal Axis | Original Contemporary Acrylic Paintings | Set of 3 | 140 × 80 cm Each

Tidal Axis is an original contemporary abstract triptych from my Oceanic Geometry collection, created in 2026. This one-of-a-kind set of three acrylic paintings explores the invisible architecture of the coastline, where water, structure, and light meet in perfect balance.

While creating this triptych, I imagined walking along a modern waterfront at sunrise. The sea was calm enough to reflect architecture like polished glass, while vertical structures seemed to rise directly from the water. Rather than painting a literal coastal scene, I translated these impressions into a language of geometry, layered textures, and atmospheric space. Every canvas captures a different rhythm, yet together they become one continuous visual journey.

Each painting can stand independently, but when displayed together they create a powerful panoramic composition filled with movement, balance, and quiet energy. The dialogue between the three canvases allows reflections, architectural forms, and open horizons to flow naturally across the entire installation, creating a sense of endless space.

The paintings were built through multiple layers of professional acrylic paint using palette knives, brushes, scraping techniques, and expressive gestural mark-making. Rich textured surfaces preserve the history of each layer, creating exceptional depth and subtle tonal variations that change beautifully throughout the day as natural light moves across the paintings.

A refined palette of ivory white, soft blue, pale grey, charcoal black, warm taupe, deep espresso brown, and cool steel grey creates a timeless contemporary aesthetic. Gentle blue passages evoke open water and expansive skies, while darker architectural forms introduce rhythm, stability, and contrast. Together these colours create an elegant balance between serenity and modern sophistication.

Although entirely abstract, Tidal Axis often evokes contemporary marinas, waterfront architecture, quiet harbours, reflective coastlines, and distant horizons. Existing between geometric abstraction and atmospheric landscape, the triptych invites personal interpretation while conveying calmness, openness, and architectural harmony.

Designed as a statement artwork, this large contemporary triptych is ideal for luxury residences, modern living rooms, boutique hotels, executive offices, reception spaces, galleries, and yacht interiors. Its sophisticated neutral palette complements Scandinavian, Japandi, minimalist, coastal contemporary, industrial, and modern luxury interiors.

For me, Tidal Axis represents the hidden order that connects architecture with nature—a place where reflections become structure, geometry becomes movement, and the sea reveals its quiet rhythm through light.
