Through the Moonlight explores the fleeting dialogue between sea, sky, and light. A luminous moon breaks through layers of drifting clouds, casting shimmering reflections across the restless water below. The shoreline remains quiet, while above it the sky seems alive with movement, creating a dramatic contrast between stillness and energy.

Painted with expressive palette knife textures and layered oil paint, this work is not intended to describe a specific place but to evoke the emotional power of standing alone before the sea at night. Light becomes the true subject of the painting—revealing, disappearing, and transforming the landscape with every passing cloud.

Part of my continuing exploration of moonlight, atmosphere, and the ever-changing relationship between water and sky, this original oil painting invites contemplation and offers a sense of mystery, depth, and quiet wonder.
