Original artwork description
When I created this piece I was originally just thinking of a composition of three figures having an intimate moment with each other. The intimacy seemed to take an awkward turn. I realized that in the moment I was reinterpreting moments from my past where I had caused damage in certain relationships by not committing to one and creating an unfair situation for those involved. Three's a Crowd is an uncomfortable reminder to be kind to those I've been intimate with.
