This piece shows a night scene under a crescent moon. Thousands of ink layers transform the landscape of paths, fields, and trees into a texture of deep colors. The dark sky contrasts with the fields below, illuminated by a gentle lunar glow. While the fine details invite closer inspection, the composition creates a unified sense of peace.

The title is from a song by Neil Young. (All the titles of my paintings are parts of song lyrics).

Artistic Technique: Layered Pigment Ink on Paper

My drawings are created using a meticulous technique of layering high-quality pigment ink on paper. By utilizing professional, archival-quality pigment-based ink pens, countless delicate strokes are built up in successive layers. This intensive process yields a rich, luminous texture with a distinct painterly quality. While each piece contains an intricate world of fine details, they seamlessly blend into a harmonious composition. It is a contemporary approach that bridges the precision of drawing with the depth and fluid feeling of painting.
