‘The simple things’ describes a disjointed composition. This awkward scene is complemented by a band of imperfect humans. The three characters appear to be unconnected; alone in their own worlds, despite their proximity to one another. They reveal themselves, both physically and psychologically: the trio signal insecurities, signs of aging, a boisterous ego and a bare white backside.
