The Proposition (2026) Original Acrylic Painting by Samantha Malone

"The Proposition" features two abstract figures caught in a moment of conversation, brought to life through layered colors, geometric shapes and expressive brushwork.

Burnt orange, mustard yellow, soft pink, earthy brown and olive green are outlined in black, creating a playful mix of shapes and forms. Subtle texture and visible, expressive brushwork bring warmth and movement to the strong graphic structure.

Inspired by everyday conversations and human connections, this work continues my interest in exploring relationships through abstract figures. I enjoy combining geometric shapes with more organic forms, creating a sense of movement and interaction while leaving room for personal interpretation.
