The Old Soul (one of the series "Own Season") (2026) Original Oil Painting by Tatyana Barinova

"Own Season" is a series about beauty that follows no calendar but its own. Each hellebore becomes a character — distinct, self-possessed, and quietly certain of its right to bloom. The Old Soul joins a growing cast of floral personalities — each with its own temperament, history, and way of being in the world. Here, beauty is not untouched or perfect. It is something that has endured, retained its warmth, and learned to exist entirely on its own terms.
