- Sometimes the most important things happen without witnesses... Water preserves such moments better than people do... It asks no questions.
I wanted to create a space that exists outside the usual rush.
- Sometimes it seems that the most beautiful stories don’t happen when something begins or ends, but in the in-between. In that brief moment when the day has almost dissolved into the water, and the night has not yet decided to take its place.
This painting is not so much about what we see as it is about what we feel: the beauty of space, light, and those rare moments when the world becomes a little quieter.
