The Hour Between

There is a small, quiet beach on the northern coast of Koh Samui, Thailand, where time seems to slow down. Bang Por is a peaceful stretch of coastline, away from the island’s busier tourist spots, where traditional fishing boats rest on the water and the sunset unfolds in all its colour and warmth.

The Hour Between captures one of those fleeting moments when the sky holds on to its last warmth, while the sea slowly slips into blue. Coral, orange and violet tones meet cooler shades of blue, reflecting the changing light and the quiet movement of the water.

The fishing boats become small, almost still silhouettes against the glowing horizon. There is something intimate about this view — the feeling of discovering a place where you can simply pause, watch the evening arrive, and let the world grow quieter around you.
