The Fish Predator (2026) Original Wood Sculpture by Oxana Raduga

This predatory fish is made from a single piece of wood from the boxwood family, which was washed up from the river. It has metal fins, specially cut in a blacksmith’s workshop. The fish naturally features the embrace of a mermaid and a man, which I only enhanced with black acrylic paint. It is coated with a matte varnish, is durable, and sits on a wooden stand. This fish was part of an exhibition project about the lives of mermaids and sea characters.
