THE ELEMENT (2025) Original Oil Painting by Volodymyr Glukhomanyuk

Storm! The heart of the painting is a confrontation. A tall ship and the sea, human and nature. A moment - and it seems that this is the end: the waves are about to swallow the ship, but in the next - hope appears. The hull holds, the masts stand! There is strength, there is a chance!.. THE ELEMENT is not just an image of a storm, these are reflections on the boundary between life and death, on how close they exist every day, always.
The author's technique with a palette knife enhances the drama: each stroke is like the spirit of the storm, each contrast is like a choice: to give up or to hold on.
The finale is in your imagination!
