The dock (2026) Original Watercolour by Anna Åström

13.5 x 13.5cm (unframed) / 4 x 4cm (actual image size)

£237.66

A memory, or more precisely, a feeling associated with a memory, from my childhood in the Swedish countryside. Stillness, silence, a misty morning by the lake...
This is a watercolor miniature - 4x4 cm - with a subtle golden sheen.
It is painted on 300 gsm fine-grained watercolor paper measuring 13.5x13.5 cm.
I paint TinyArt using traditional watercolor techniques—where the paper is the white and the water is the light.
I always work with a brush and without a preliminary sketch, as a pencil tip is too coarse.
The artwork is signed on the front and delivers with Certificate of Authenticity.
I believe in the importance of small details in life.
Every “tiny” I paint is a love letter to nature. A way to hold on to something that is constantly changing—so perfect and magically vital, yet so fragile that it needs care from each and every one of us.
