The Aviators Dreams. (2025) Original Acrylic Painting by Kseniia Turik

97 x 162 x 4cm (unframed)

£4,954.04

The Aviators Dreams started with a memory of looking out of a plane window and forgetting where the sky ended and the ocean began. That moment when blue meets blue and the horizon disappears.
Every shade of blue — from cobalt to sky — sweeps diagonally across the canvas in broad, confident currents. From the height of flight, through the transparent depth of the resin, stunning emerald depths open up — as if you were flying over the sea and could see the bottom. And within those depths — faces, profiles, silhouettes. They were not painted. They appeared on their own — like characters who wandered in from a dream and stayed to live inside the painting. Every time you look, you find a new one.
The entire surface is sealed in epoxy resin, which gives the blue an impossible depth — you look through the colour, not at it. Depending on the light in your room, the painting shifts from deep sapphire in the morning to pale steel by evening.
This is one of my largest works. It does not hang on a wall — it lives there. The diagonal movement fills a space with quiet energy, the way an open sky changes the feeling of a room without making a sound.
The Aviators Dreams belongs in living rooms with high ceilings, entrance halls with natural light, or above a long sofa where it can breathe.
