"The Assembled Puzzle" is a vibrant abstract painting built from interlocking shapes, layered color, and richly textured surfaces. Often when I paint, I feel as though I am assembling a puzzle by placing colors, forms, patterns, and marks together until the separate parts begin to connect and the composition finds its balance.

The painting combines black, blue, mustard, earthy green, purple, deep orange, and soft neutral tones, creating a bold yet playful sense of movement. Multiple layers of acrylic paint give the surface depth and variation, with visible brushwork, scraped-back details, and patterned sections adding rhythm and energy across the canvas.

The work has a strong contemporary presence, balancing structure with spontaneity. Its geometric forms and expressive marks create a composition that feels carefully assembled, yet still full of life, curiosity, and movement.
