An original oil painting on loose canvas, now mounted to wood panel.
This is a rural road in the mountains, a beautiful late summer day, painting out in nature.
I don't know the actual name of the road. It's a gravel road that goes from nowhere to who knows, so it may not even have a name. While I was painting I kept thinking of the song "Telegraph Road" by Dire Straits. So I borrowed the name from them. Thanks Mark Knopfler. ("You're welcome")
Painted en plein aire in oil paint. 20 x 16 inches. Unframed.
Cheers,
