Original artwork description
Tidal drift is an original oil painting on wooden panel, inspired by the quiet, floating world of cells, jellyfish and deep-sea creatures. Rows of soft, linked blue forms drift across the natural wood grain like organisms suspended in water, while pale drips mirror the passage of water. Luminous white forms emerge from the pattern like bioluminescent life glimpsed in the dark.
Similar to 'Spring blossoms', I created this piece by layering thin layers of oil paint on a wooden panel.
This piece is signed and dated on the back and comes with a signed Certificate of Authenticity. It will be carefully wrapped in tissue paper and foam board, then shipped in a cardboard box within 5 working days.
