Geometric forms drift and interlock across a warm ochre textured background — some grounded, some appearing to float free of the surface entirely. The composition draws on architectural drawing and the logic of built space, translating structural thinking into paint.

The ochre ground is heavily worked — layered, scraped and reworked over multiple sessions. Against this textured warmth, the precise black line work creates a tension between the analytical and the painterly. Colour appears sparingly and deliberately — navy, crimson, gold, teal and cerulean blue - each accent placed to activate a specific form rather than decorate the surface.

Painted in acrylic on canvas in my Edinburgh studio. Ships rolled in a protective tube for cost-effective worldwide delivery. Ready to stretch locally to your preferred framing specification. Certificate of authenticity included.

The artwork has plenty of canvas around the edges to be stretched over bars or to be framed.
