Artwork description:

The inspiration was a snapshot I took many years ago in Castiglione del Lago, Italy. I wanted to capture the sunset, the lake and the light and shadow hitting the arch.

Finally after years of printmaking I felt able to undertake this piece. The method I use is reduction linocut. One piece of Lino is printed with one colour ink, then carved away and another colour is printed on top. There are no second chances with this method.
This particular piece has over 20 layers, and any more colours! This means I printed each piece of paper over 20 times to create the image.

The paper is Fabriano Rosapina paper, which is made not to far from this view, and it is printed with light fast matt inks, and the lake is printed using a pearlescent ink giving a subtle sheen to the water.

The postage and packaging fees are for up to 2 prints. If you purchase more than 2 prints I will package them together, where possible and refund excess postage costs.

For the U.K. I ship Royal Mail 1st class tracked or Special Delivery depending on the value of the package.
International orders are shipped Royal Mail International tracked.

Outside the U.K. and USA local customs/duty may be incurred. These are the responsibility of the customer and outside my control.
