Sunset over the Isle of Skye on a summer's evening, as viewed from Mallaig, Western Highlands, Scotland. The air quality and light intensity were such that the colours of the sunset were able to dominate the evening sky. I exposed for the sky and reflected light from the clouds to allow the colours to shine through which has resulted in the creation of a silhouette of the rocky foreground on the edge of the coast. A beautiful view to the distant Cuillin ridge across the sea.
