This painting was done *plein air* on a clear January afternoon. The sunset was glorious that day and speed was of the essence since the views were changing rapidly in front of my eyes. I tried to capture the glare of the sun spreading over the pine trees in the valley below.

Painted after life, alla prima, using high quality oil paints on a canvas panel.

Signed on the front and back and accompanied by a certificate of authenticity.
