Part of my ongoing exploration of light, memory, and everyday moments.

This painting captures a fleeting feeling rather than a specific place or story: bright sun, warm air, a bicycle leaning nearby, and a rare moment when there is nowhere urgent to be.

I was interested in the sensation of a summer afternoon when everything slows down. The heat softens the edges of the world, thoughts become quieter, and ordinary details suddenly feel meaningful.

Painted with loose brushwork and luminous color, the figure appears almost like a memory — not a portrait of a person, but a portrait of a state of mind.

The work celebrates simple moments of freedom, stillness, and the feeling that, for a brief time, everything is exactly where it should be.
