Summer Night — warm and still, the air filled with the scent of lavender, the sky turning purple at dusk.
My paintings always start with color.
But for this very special project the first inspiration came from scent. When we started creating the fragrances, we had a vision of summer aromas — two different moods: one fresh, citrusy, and green, sunny like a summer morning, and another calm and serene, like summer dusk. My inspiration was rooted in both the feeling the scent creates and the ingredients we used: Lavender and Bay leaf.
