Summer Light explores the richness of midsummer light as it transforms an ordinary river into a living landscape of color. Sunlight filters through the trees, illuminating the foliage with vibrant greens while cool reflections drift across the quiet water. The scene is less about a specific location than about the fleeting harmony between light, water, and nature.

Working in expressive oil brushstrokes, I sought to capture the sensation of standing beside the river at the height of summer, when every leaf seems to glow and every reflection changes with the passing light. The contrast between luminous greens and deep blue shadows creates a sense of movement while preserving the stillness of the moment.

Although painted from direct observation, the composition moves beyond a traditional landscape. It reflects my ongoing exploration of light as an emotional presence—a recurring theme throughout my work, whether in moonlit seascapes, evening rivers, or sunlit forests.
