Summer Greenery explores the richness of a summer landscape at its most vivid and abundant. Dense foliage surrounds a secluded stretch of water, while sunlight moves through the trees and breaks across the surface in shifting reflections.

Rather than describing the landscape in precise detail, I built the composition through color, light, and energetic brushwork. Layers of emerald, yellow-green, turquoise, and deep forest tones create a sense of depth, while warmer accents bring movement into the foreground. The darker water provides a visual pause within the intensity of the surrounding vegetation.

What interests me here is the contrast between stillness and vitality. The water remains almost hidden inside the landscape, while the trees seem to expand beyond the boundaries of the canvas. Light becomes the element that connects everything — foliage, reflections, shadows, and open air.

Summer Greenery belongs to my continuing exploration of nature through expressive color and atmospheric light. It is less a literal portrait of a particular place than an impression of being completely surrounded by the fullness of summer.
