Submission II explores the moment when vulnerability ceases to be merely fragility and transforms into a silent form of resistance. The female figure, curled inward upon herself, engages in a direct dialogue with the viewer, while the warm, turbulent environment seems to envelop her. Amidst ochres, reds, blacks, and flashes of light, the work builds a tension between surrender, introspection, and contained strength. Part of the Evas series, the painting reflects on the representation of the feminine and on the boundaries between subjection, choice, and freedom.
