A vibrant, fanciful abstract work with beautiful colours done as a diptych. The work is done on 2 canvases, each 29,5 x 39,5 cm (11.6 x 15.6) There are contrasts of glowing colours and muted ones for balance. The work is very dynamic with a light touch!
If you have a look at the detail shots you will see the course texture to enhance the dynamism of the work. On the lower third of each canvas I added a scrap of linen canvas to enhance the texture. I used transparent and opaque layers for contrast.
I used ink, acrylic and ashes.
The sides are painted black but left visible traces of the development of this work.
I added a hook on the back on the canvas so it is ready to hang - you just need a nail.
