I was painting on a Spring day from a dock on a lake in the Florida Panhandle; sometimes called The Forgotten Coast. The wind suddenly whipped up and a storm began to blow in. So I strapped down the easel and kept on painting. I finished just before the rain started. Storms come in fast sometimes in Florida. I have to say that the wind was a challenge. I had to chase down my hat more than once, but the result was worth it.
