Stolen Time 70 (2020) Original Acrylic Painting by Richard Heys

This is an original one-of-a-kind painting, acrylic on canvas, from my Stolen Time series. This was a series of work that I created, starting from the beginning of the first lockdown in March 2020. These works, although abstract, are infused with the inspiration I gained from nature, walking between my home and my painting studio each day. At the time I lived in a village in Sussex and my studio was a mile's walk across the Medway River (close to its source) and through fields, woods and gardens to my studio.

This painting is affectionately known as the poppy field. It's framed in white and is ready to hang.
