My Stolen Time series of paintings began when the UK went into lockdown in March 2020. The title Stolen Time relates to many things: the lockdown as well as the gift of time that I was given as the whole world was forced to pause. Every day I walked to my studio across the fields in the Sussex countryside, observing and being inspired by nature & the quiet that fell upon everything. The images and inspiration from these daily walks found their way into the pieces in this series.
