Original artwork description
My work explores land, sea and sky through simple forms, colour and line. Rather than depicting specific places, I’m interested in how light, weather and memory shape our sense of a landscape. Influenced by artists including Tal R, Milton Avery, Patrick Heron and Hiroshige, the work aims to capture the feeling of a place rather than an exact view, leaving space for viewers to bring their own memories and associations.
Each piece is made on high-quality paper using acrylic paint and printing ink. Works are sold unframed.
