Static holds the charge from a summer sky that felt like it was exploding in colour, and the moorland fires that crossed the Yorkshire Dales this autumn. Thin lines of yellow-green cut down through deep red and violet, like current still looking for somewhere to go. I am not loud. I am the tension held just under the surface, waiting to see which way it breaks.
