Spring Over Podil (2025) Original Oil Painting by Andriy Berekelia

I sought to capture the meeting of light and color on canvas — the tender green of spring leaves, the soft shadows of passing clouds, and the majestic domes of St. Andrew’s Church rising above the cityscape. This view speaks of the harmony between nature and the city, of awakening and of hope.

The painting is created with rich, textured strokes of oil paint, infused with the living energy of the brush. It’s my way of preserving that fleeting yet precious moment of spring — a season that appears and vanishes, leaving behind warmth and memory.

This artwork will be sold unframed and is ready to hang.

The sides of the canvas are painted, so it can be displayed without a frame.
