Spanish Springtime 6 (2025) Original Mixed-media Painting by Marisa Añón

Spanish Springtime 6

Spring in Spain has a particular warmth and intensity that I never tire of. The colours of the landscape, the changing light and the contrasts between tones find their way into my work quite naturally. I simplify and rearrange what I see until the painting feels like my own way of experiencing that moment.
