Solace captures a quiet moment in nature, where shifting skies meet rolling hills bathed in soft light. The painting evolved slowly in the studio, each layer building on the last, until atmosphere and stillness began to settle across the surface.

The drips appeared almost without thought, like a breath released, and were left untouched, unedited and true. They cut through the calm with a sense of movement and immediacy, bringing contrast and energy to the landscape beneath.
